I want to start out by thanking Becky at Beyond The Picket Fence for featuring my Spring Mantle in her Under $100 Party! I love her blog - if you haven't already - you have to check it out!
This last month has been so much fun for me. I accomplished so much that I have wanted to do and then some. There are still a few things around the house that need to get done, but they all require my hubby's wood working skills, and we have been so busy these last few weekends, there just hasn't been time. Other than that though - I would say that this has been a huge success. Over the last 30 days I have met so many new friends, learned so much - new techniques, how to sew, and a ton about blogging in general!
Obviously this isn't the end for me - you can't get rid of me that easily! I will still be working on projects, as well as orders (I actually have a bunch in the works right now!). Do you know what my hubby said to me this morning - too funny. He said - "I know what you can do for your last day - clean the house!"- poor guy. I must say, the 30 day challenge has pretty much taken over my household. Even though I have a craft room, it gets lonely up there, so I my poor house looks like a craft tornado swept through it!! I need to thank my hubby for putting up with my beautiful disasters in just about every room in the house. The first thing I will do tomorrow is CLEAN for sure.
So for my last day - I tackled one project that I have been putting off for awhile. Addison has a table in her playroom that has really needed some TLC for a long time. The table is from Ikea, and a few years ago I decided to spray paint it white. One can of spray paint wasn't enough though, but I never did finish it...until today.
Before |
I gave it a fresh coat of white paint, and decided to mod podge some 2x2" squares in coordinating paper onto the apron. I have never mod podged before - it was so easy!!!
After! |
It's a wrap - 30 days of crafts complete!
