All done - Complete Baby Boy Scrapbook!!

Well, hello there!  I am so so so excited with the way this baby book came out.  I'm about to inundate you with photos, I will apologize in advance - I am just so proud!!  LOL.  This book literally started with two chipboard covers and a bunch of paper.  Everything here is hand cut, scored, sewn, assembled, covered, glued and tied.  I even wrapped the chipboard covers and lined the insides like a real book.  Love doesn't even begin to express how I feel about this book - you would think I was actually talking about a baby, right?  The only thing I have to do before delivering it is to add photo corners to all of the mounts so that the mommy can just slip her 4x6 photos in.

What do you think?  I adore it - now I have to get to work on two more...whew - that was a lot of work, but so worth the outcome!

Challenge Day 3 - Anthropologie Inspired Necklace

I have been dying over this necklace from Anthropologie for months.  

BUT - at the tune of $198 - I think my unemployed butt can make one myself.  I have been trying and trying to figure out how they made it, and, after much trial and error I finally got it.  


I didn't want to rip off the whole idea though - LOVED the colors, but I had purchased a large old key charm about a month ago and have been dying to use it for something.


So, here it is, my version of the $198 neklace.

I love it - and actually wore it to an interview this morning.  So great to dress up a tee and jeans, right?  

Till tomorow - I have a home project that I'm planning to do - pretty time intensive so I saved it for a Saturday!

Order Up!

Just finished and shipped my first boutique order - how exciting!!  The headbands came out so nice, and I am really proud of them.  Now, to move on and start generating some more orders.  I have some ideas for future merchandise, so I need to get moving on the samples.  Is there anything in particular you would like to see?  Would love your comments and suggestions.  


These are some of the items that were included in the Boutique order - color variations of my original post from Facebook.  Isn't my little Addie becoming quite the model?  She makes weird faces when she knows a picture is coming - very unnatural fake smiles - it's kind of funny, so I have to snap her when she isn't ready.  


Justin took a picture of me working last night - you can see what the craft desk looks like now that I have projects underway.  Not so neat right now...
