Saturday Social Week 8!!

Happy Friday - I am so glad it's the weekend!!!  Not only is it Friday, but it's also the kick off of my weekly Linky Party - Saturday Social!!

This has been an amazing week for me - I got to watch my favorite show Design Star, finally got a new line of stationery designed, AND guest blogged on one of my favorites - The CSI ProjectI can't wait to see what you have all been doing!!

Here's how it works:

Link to a Specific Post - not just your blog homepage (we want to be able to find your creation!). Share any handmade craft, home decor, or recipe you would like (just no Etsy shops or items for sale please).

Grab a button below, or have a link back to my blog…so everyone can join in the party!

Be social and visit some of your Linky Neighbors - mingling makes for a better party!!

The party ends at noon on Sunday, and I will post my features Sunday night!

Linky Linky!!

Friday I'm In Love

There is no rhyme or reason to this week's addition of Friday I'm In Love.  The common thread to all of these is that they are all fantastic projects, and deserve all of the Love I can give!!  If you were featured - feel free to grab a button from my sidebar!

OK - this first one - is a 3-D PAPER Princess Castle that Judy's Handmade Creations made for her daughter's birthday party.  This is beyond incredible - it came out so perfect, right down to the glitter!!

Julie at Less-Than-Perfect Life of Bliss outdid herself with this one.  See this pretty bench?  It started out as a coffee table!   It's so beautiful - you have to check out the whole room on her blog - it looks so great in there!

I saw this in my blog feed, and fell in love!  Kelli and Kristi at Lolly Jane repurposed an old apron into this adorable little sundress.  I wish I had one of these for Addie!!

Carrie at Greenbean's Crafterole always has such great ideas! I have been needing an excuse to purchase a Bind It All for a long time, and I think I just found it!  These paintchip notepads would make such great gifts or party favors!!

And finally - Leslie at Saving Grace Creations had me with casters!  Her Industrial Chic Coffee Table can wheel its way into my house any day!!

That's all for today!  I hope you have a fabulous weekend!!  Don't forget to link up to Saturday Social this weekend!  Oh yeah - I almost forgot!  I haven't gotten the button up on my blog yet - but I am FINALLY ON Twitter!!  'Bout time, right??  Check it out @SoclSalutations

Lovin' Me Some Pinterest

I have been on the party kick lately, as you have probably already noticed - so I thought I would share some of my Pinterest picks with you.  I love everything about these ideas, from the creativity, to the colors.

Isn't this camping themed party adorable?

I love the colors in this cluster - so pretty!!

This party is gorgeous!  I want to throw a shindig just so I can make a creation like this!

Love the use of mason jars here!!

A birthday hat made out of an ice cream cone?  Seriously creative!!

Yes - this castle is made out of a cardboard box - how stinkin' cute is that??

Michele at The Scrap Shoppe and Tammy from Not Just Paper and Glue have put together a linky party - The Pinterest Master List for Crafters
If you need creative inspiration - check out all of the crafty gals who have linked up their accounts.  It is truly a great list and a great starting point if you are new to Pinterest!!  AND - if you are interested in any more of my pins - click on the button in my sidebar to follow me over there!

New Stationery Line

Hey everyone!!  I have been playing around with some designs for a new line of personalized stationery that I am thinking about selling in my Etsy Shop.  I would love to get your feedback!

I have been on a graphic kick for a bit, and wanted to bring it into some of my paper goods.  I think graphics scream for bright colors, and I really liked the way everything came together.

Of course, I had to get in on the Chevron trend - this is what inspired the whole line!

Then I started thinking....how 'bout stripes??

Then, naturally, my brain went to circles!  (I'm goin' with the flow of thought here people!)

And what's the opposite of circles....your guessed it!

What do you think??  Is it a go?

On another note (no pun intended)...who's going to be the first to make fun of me for choosing the FIRST designer to be kicked off Design Star as my favorite!!  Whoa is me!  LOL.
