There has been no shortage of Holiday Decorating out in the blogosphere this week, but I decided to take a different route with my favorites for this edition. This week I want to focus on DIY Gift Ideas. Let's face it, for most people - money is tight this year, and I know I would rather receive a handmade gift - how 'bout you? Here's some fun projects I found that won't break your bank!
I loved these DIY Soap Wrappers from Funkytime. These would make a great Teacher's gift or stocking stuffer! Sibylle even shares the printable file to make these very wrappers!
Calendars are always a great gift to give - everyone could use one, right? Jaime Lyn over at Crafty Scrappy Happy shared a tutorial to make this calendar using Cut It Out Frames! This came out so cute - just in time for the holidays! PS - she is doing a giveaway on her blog right now to win some of these frames, so head over there and enter!!
I absolutely love these Lump of Coal gifts from the gals at Eighteen25. How stinkin' cute right? The best part? The coal is edible! I know a few naughty folks that I could give this to!
These DIY Photo Coasters would make such a great gift for a grandparent! Liz from The Quick Journey shares a tutorial on how to make these - AND they are super inexpensive (she got the coaster base at The Dollar Store!!) LOVE!!!
And finally, I couldn't resist this DIY Heart Bracelet from WobiSobi! Anne always has the best ideas and tutorials - wouldn't this be a fabulous gift for a friend or sister?
If you were featured - feel free to grab a button from my sidebar.
I hope these ideas have helped you plan out some gifts for friends and family! I know which ones I will be making this year! I need to get a serious jump on my gifts - I am so behind!!!
